Ije Success

Ije Success (born Success Ufondu) is an artist based in the California San Francisco Bay Area. She recently graduated from UC Berkeley with a double major in Cognitive Science and Theater and Performance Studies. While at Cal, she performed in multiple productions and received the Grace Sprague Pillsbury & Josephine Park Pillsbury Actress of Excellence award, given to one female student in the department every year.

Professionally, she played the lead role of Bell in Oakland Theater Project's critically acclaimed production of sAiNt jOaN (burn, burn, burn), written by Lisa Ramirez. She was nominated for the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle (SFBATCC) award for her performance in this role. She returned to OTP playing Abigail Williams in The Crucible at Oakland Theater Project. She recently played Lucentio in The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare and Jasmine in Pipeline by Dominque Morisseau at the African American Shakespeare Company.

She primarily goes by Success. Ije Success on stage. You can also call her Ije.
